Who can get account details?
Verified Wam customers, subject to eligibility checks by our partner. Open the app, finish verification and you will see your account details when they are available to you.
Does it cost anything to receive?
Wam charges no fee to receive into your account details. The person or company sending may pay their own bank's fees.
Can people pay me in euros and pounds?
Yes. Share your EUR or GBP details and they pay by SEPA or Faster Payments. The money arrives in your US dollar balance at the displayed rate.
How long does a payment take?
It depends on the sender's bank, the rail and our compliance checks. You get a notification when it lands.
What can I do with the US dollars?
Keep them in your US dollar balance, or exchange them to TT dollars in the app at the rate shown before you confirm, then send, pay or withdraw to your local bank.
